Dato Venue For Rent Case Study
Overview
The case study shows how Google My Business drastically improved a local business digital business presence. The local business is a family owned small venue rental and just a little bit of a background – the venue for rent is part of our house. It is supposed to be a bed and breakfast restaurant but we decided to turn it into a venue rental.

I have been managing local SEO accounts and Google My Business accounts from google partner agencies for years now so I am excited to do a case study of my family business.

Basic Google My Business Optimization Delivered Quick Results
Make sure the business name, address, and phone number are correct. Keep your NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number) consistent to all your other listings such as in your social media accounts.
Aside from NAP, use your services or products as a category. Example, I used Event Venue as a main category and Wedding Venue as a secondary category since our business accepts wedding receptions with small numbers of guests. As of the writing of this case study, only 2 types of categories are available in Google My Business, the Event Venue and Wedding Venue categories.
